Day 1 — Medan Bukit Lawang

  • Pick-up at Kualanamu Airport or Medan city.
  • Drive to Bukit Lawang (approx. 4–5 hours).
  • Check-in at eco-lodge by the river.

  • Evening at leisure.

Day 2 — Jungle Trekking Day 1 Wildlife Viewing Jungle Camp

  • Breakfast at lodge.
  • Start guided jungle trek inside Gunung Leuser National Park.

  • Opportunities to observe semi-wild orangutans and other wildlife.

Tour Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

  • Confirmation required before trek.
  • Guide availability subject to season and ranger scheduling.
  • Jungle permits issued by the National Park Authority and may be non-refundable.
  • A 30% deposit is required to confirm booking unless otherwise stated.
  • Full payment must be completed no later than 14 days before departure, unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing.
  • All prices are in IDR unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellation by Client

  • 30+ days before departure: 100% refund (minus bank/admin fees).
  • 15–29 days before departure: Deposit (30%) is non-refundable.
  • Up to 7 days before departure (for jungle-specific permits/tours): 50% refund.
  • Within 48 hours of departure: No refund.
  • No-show or late arrival: 100% penalty.

3. Cancellation by SSTT

  • SSTT may cancel or adjust the trek due to weather conditions, wildlife activity, national park restrictions, safety issues, or other reasons beyond our control.
  • If SSTT cancels, guests receive a full refund or may reschedule for an alternative date (subject to availability).
  • When partial itinerary changes are required (route, timing, guide), SSTT will use reasonable efforts to provide equivalent services.

4. Liability

  • SSTT and licensed guides operate under national park regulations and accepted safety practices.
  • Trekking involves physical activity and exposure to natural hazards; guests are responsible for their personal fitness, medical conditions, and appropriate travel insurance (including evacuation cover where recommended).
  • SSTT is not liable for loss, damage, delays, injury, or death caused by wildlife, natural conditions, force majeure, or actions/omissions of third-party suppliers.
  • Clients must carry valid travel documents and comply with park rules and guide instructions at all times.
